Rated 3 out of 5 by Wood from Awkward and cramped layout/configuration We were limited regarding size for which model we could buy due to the space in our kitchen. The freezer drawers are very cramped, don't hold much at all and get stuck frequently. The crisper drawers are nowhere near large enough. I do like the bottom snack tray/drawer. We use it for all of our cheeses. Otherwise, I wish we had purchased a different model as this one is configured all wrong

Rated 3 out of 5 by Fan, not a fan from Bought these because my Kenmore's were very good Purchased - Whirlpool Refrigerator and Range in late November 2024. Refrigerator - We bought this refrigerator in particular because it is almost identical in appearance and function to our original Kenmore (made by Whirlpool in Canada) that was now 10 years old but still ran great. When you looked at them they where like twins, the only difference inside and out was the brand name on the front. We knew that it was not at the same standard because the new one didn't have sliding shelves, drawer liners and a cheese keeper but all the rest of the items were close. The doors were misaligned by over 1/2" difference top to bottom at the gap between the doors when we received it, I believe this was from manufacture, with no adjustment method possible in the design. A few weeks after delivery the gasket on the right door of the fridge started to rip (a badly deteriorated fridge door gasket was the reason we decided to replace our 10 year old Kenmore refrigerator). Within days a technician brought a new one and with some effort and ingenuity realigned the doors and installed the gasket. Now 3 weeks after the replacement and the new gasket is splitting in 2 places and has started to rip once again. We have no doubt the gasket will once again need to be replaced. Range - We decided to buy a Whirlpool range at the same time. On day 6, after delivery, the range blew out the triple element with a loud bang and a flash of electricity under the cooktop. A technician arrived within a couple of days to assess it. The element was burnt through in 2 places. We went over the Christmas holidays with just 3 burners working which caused difficulties for entertaining. We are still awaiting parts to have it fixed. There are other issues that have started to happen as well with both appliances, which we won’t mention here. The appliance store, sales rep and Whirlpool have all been helpful and supportive but to be honest if we had the option we would go back to our original Kenmore appliances and just replace the door gasket. Given these experiences I'm very glad we got the 5 year extended warranty.

The French doors give us more passing room in the kitchen. The drawers feel a bit flimsy compared to our old fridge.
