We got this unit when we purchase our home two years ago, so may be the previous owner didn't take good care of it? but this unit is nothing but trouble to us. sock got caught to the drain, so we actually ended up have to bag all the socks before we put it in machines, which we didn't have to do with our Samsung or another whirlpool unit we used. then the soap dispense made it difficult to access to the filter if small thing get caught in it, again with this unit it happened 4-5 times in the two years we have it. then the machines just broke..... when i looked up the serial number it was only a 4 years old machine. this makes me go back to Samsung unit.
