2 in 1 Removable Agitator

The 2 in 1 Removable Agitator lets you choose how you wash and care for your clothes by easily swapping the agitator post in or out. With two ways to wash, it is twice the washer you have at home.

Soil Level Selection

Choose the right amount of agitation for your fabrics with an option that lets you select the soil level of your load on any cycle, so you get less agitation on light loads and more on full or dirty loads.

Soaking Cycles

Soak and wash in one cycle. Skip a trip to the laundry room with Soaking Cycles that start washing whites and colors as soon as they're done soaking.

Thanks to the 2 in 1 Removable Agitator, you can easily reinsert the agitator whenever you want to switch back from the impeller. Multiple wash motions gently move clothes up, down and side to side throughout the cycle for a thorough clean in different water levels.

Smooth Impeller Option

Easily remove the 2 in 1 Removable Agitator when your load needs a little more space to move. Impeller wash action cleans by rubbing the fabrics against each other, while the design of the impeller’s surface helps drive clothes from the outer rim to the center, where the deepest cleaning happens.

Select this option for a thorough rinse to help minimize irritation for those with sensitive skin.

Whites Cycle

Cleans loads of soiled white fabrics with the addition of bleach. An additional rinse helps to remove any remaining chlorine residue. Uses hot temperatures, fast tumbling, longer wash times and an extra-high spin speed for optimal cleaning.

Colors Cycle

Care for colored fabrics with a cycle that uses cold water to provide optimal fabric care.

Bulky/Sheets Cycle

The Bulky/Sheets Cycle takes care of bedding as well as those bulky winter jackets. The washer fills with enough water to wet down the load before the wash cycle begins, then uses a higher water level than other cycles.

Delicates Cycle

Delicates Cycle uses a slower spin speed and wash action to deliver a gentle clean.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Sandra from Whirlpool® Top Load Washer with removable agitato Doesn't wash clothes properly. Doesn't fill washer with enough water to clean properly. This machine has to use specific detergent which is more expensive. It doesn't rinse well enough as other machines...I'm not happy and would never buy this brand Again ...I would recommend this machine to anyone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from Great washer Washer has worked flawlessly so far, we like the removable agitator and the option to use the heavy wash cycle. The washer and ales a lot longer to go through a cycle compared to our old one. But it’s a good purchase thus far. We have an old Kenmore washer that I just replaced the transmission on, our Kenmore elite was manufactured in the year 2000 and we have used it for all these years. It does a cycle much faster and is a tank. The Kenmore elite washer that we have was made by whirlpool back in Dec of 2000 and because of its reliability we decided to go with another whirlpool.

After a setback at the beginning, when a new computer board had to be installed. it only took 1 day to arrive, I'm completely amazed at how quiet the Top Loading Washer is, senses how much water is needed(therefore using less water) & how the clothes need hardly any drying time, are basically Damp Dry when laundry is completed

Particularly impressed with how well it wrings out the excess water in the spin cycle. One complaint, is how noisy the machine is when filling with water.
