The assembly is designed for easy installation and includes the ice bin, all necessary parts, and instructions. Installing this accessory will require basic hand tools and novice installation experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this accessory. Also turn off the refrigerator's water supply before you begin.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Mart from No fridge to go with it! Not saying that part is no good, I am saying that you cannot evaluate the part if Whirlpool does not deliver the fridge that goes with it. Whirlpool does not make it possible for you to complain about the customer experience so you have to comment in the product review... and I am quite sure this won't get published! Sort story: Bought that online because I orderd a Whirlpool compatible fridge from Home Depot. Whirlpool failed to deliver fridge to Home Depot a month later and it was damaged during Whirlpool transport. Resulting in a delay of over a month. In a family of 5 wihtout fridge, could not wait another month. So I bought a different "in stock" fridge with ice making capability. You have 30 days to return but because of Whirlpool, I exceeded that delay by less than 10 days. Result: Cannot return, spent over 3 hours with customer service behing redirected many times and they cannot do anything because of "system and policies", even if it is clearly their fault for not delivering. So don't expect much customer service, on the Whirlpool end, "some people" are friendly but still won't help you.
