Rated 1 out of 5 by Not a Whirlpool fan from Fire Hazard Do Not Recommend Fire Hazard. We purchased and were told that the control lock would prevent accidental elements turning on. Awoke during the night to discover that the element was on and had been for over 7 hours. Incredibly dangerous. This needs to be reported to the right people. The control lock does not prevent the elements from being accidently turned on.

The writing is constantly coming off the knobs, such an easy thing to fix. Whoever makes the decisions at Whirlpool needs to be fired.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Mr Sad from Disappointed in Ontario After using for approx 3 years without too many concerns, the touch screen stopped working at all ( went blank) tried to order replacement part (screen). Whirlpool parts representative couldn't help me get the replacement part (said they were out of stock) offered no wait times or hope for a replacement part. So I'm left to buy a replacement oven. You can bet I will skip by any whirlpool related products or affiliated companies

Rated 1 out of 5 by Christine from Piece of crap and fire hazard Don’t walk, run from this range! We paid a lot of money for this “high end” range. It has never worked properly from the beginning. Control board had to be changed after two months because oven was turning on by itself. Top was also replaced within a few months due to crack. The low temp easy clean is useless. Due to finish on walls, cannot use oven cleaner to clean. Cleaning the oven is a half day job. When cooking on the stove while oven is on, you will more than likely turn off the oven simply by being too near the control pad. Also leaning against the knobs will turn them on. Fire hazard! Bottom burner in oven blew up last week (I heard a bang, saw a small fire in oven) Oven no longer can get past 285 degrees unless it’s in broil mode. Of course, 2 year extended warranty expired 6 months ago. Only way to contact Whirpool is the phone or snail mail. I sent Whirpool a snail mail a year ago explaining fire hazard issues - never got a reply. Total piece of junk
