Oven heats up on its own due to malfunctions control board and manufacture acknowledge defects agreed to fix the issue for a good review. I refused their offer instead let the public be aware of the defects of control board. Thanks for the fire alarm which saved our life and house from burning in the middle of night.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anna from Horrible product I would give this piece of junk zero stars if I could. Only 2 years old and oven doesn’t work. It heats up to desired temp, but after 10 minutes or so it tries to light but it doesn’t happen. Oven hardly used especially in first year of ownership. Technicians have been out multiple times to service it. At the this point it’s been broken for almost 2 months. ( They have replaced almost $2000 in parts- electric control board and panel, burner, burner igniter, and some valve in the back of the unit) I have called Whirlpool and they said can’t do anything, and to contact State and King (extended warranty company) who have been giving me the run around wasting my time replacing random parts instead of replacing the unit like I asked for. Extremely fed up and disappointed!

About a week after we got it the oven controls (touchpad) became erratic then stopped working. The service technician was great and found a loose connection.

It operates quietly and heats up quickly. I love the large oven window, and display. I love the black stainless look. One small improvement would be to have the beep louder and repetitive when cooking is complete.

Rated 4 out of 5 by LibbyLP from Great functionality, problematic for overly fussy Love the design and functionality of this range. The individual elements with unique purpose are so useful. Love that the metal range grates can be lifted for easy cleaning. The digital control panel is easy to navigate and offers an extensive variety of cooking methods from convect to air fryer - so diverse. On the negative, the control panel is tough to keep clean and is ultra-sensitive when wiping. And while you can lift the range grates to clean oven surface, the surface constantly looks spotty and never fully pristine. Perhaps the range surface could be produced in another finish - the shiny black is a bit high maintenance. The internal oven is quite loud when in use, constant clicking for gas connection.
