Rated 1 out of 5 by Cb601 from Stopped Working after less than 14 Months Do not buy this appliance. Ours lasted less than 12 months before the compressor died and the unit stopped cooling. Read all of the reviews and you will see that there is a fundamental issue with the quality of this appliance with countless people having the same issues.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Justin from It's ok but lacking in the freezer This fridge is great, except that if you remove the optional ice-maker, you are left with a gaping hole in the fridge and a waste of space. I've contacted support about this once, and they just sent me the same part I already had. I know the fridge has a clear bin for this, I've seen it in other pictures.

Seems to be the compressor as I have read many other reviews with the same issue. Very disappointed. Does Whirlpool have any sort of grace period for warranty?

Rated 1 out of 5 by RayK from Disappointed On All Fronts Love the look, but everything else has been a terrible experience. Stopped cooling in less than 2 months of use. Unfortunately we were away where all the contents in the fridge and freezer had to be disposed of at a considerable expense. In fact, they could offer the 4 year extended warranty for free and that would only cover a fraction of what was lost. Registered the product and proceeded to book a service call which required the process be performed twice. Once that was finally complete and the "Book Service" link was initiated, "Site In under Maintenance" would display. After hours of going through the process, I broke down and phoned Whirlpool direct which was very time consuming. Once again had to go through all the information again and was told a new compressor was needed. I was informed the service company would bring the compressor at no charge including labor. A few days later the service company showed up with no parts, and was told it was to diagnose the product only and my charge would be $140. After sorting out the fridge is under warranty, I was told it was in fact the compressor which would take approximately 2 additional weeks to repair. If there was an option to provide a 0 star, it would have had a 0.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Westcoaster from Fridge worked for 2 weeks We had this model delivered. It worked for 2 weeks and then the compressor stopped working. So now it’s been hauled away and we are waiting for a replacement. Very disappointed in the quality.
