Rated 4 out of 5 by Chris2 from Minor problem Over all like the refrigerator. I'm just having a problem with the left door having to be pushed shut. Our other refrigerator which is almost identical you can just give it a little push and it closes. The new one has resulted in the door being left open for hours because I did not notice. I am going to look at the Manuel and I know there are hinge adjustments but I don't see it listed for hard to close.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Whirlpool fan from 2nd time’s the charm. This is the 2nd time I have purchased this exact refrigerator, which shows that I do like this style & make. I was surprised to find that the crispers sliding off the rails is still a problem. Maybe there is no fix for this and I am the one needed adjusted.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Crapappliances1 from A total and utter lemon of an appliance. Don't buy Purchased this unit in October 2023 through a Costco deal. What a mistake!. The unit was manufactured in July 2023 and less than a year into its life, the compressor stopped working so I have been without a functioning fridge and freezer since early June 2024. While the unit is under warranty, it turns out that this lemon can't be fixed because Whirlpool can't source replacement parts for an appliance they manufactured. Even my local appliance repair guys, who do warranty work can't source a new compressor and couplings for this unit. Attempts to call customer service are exercises in frustration as their call tree doesn't allow you to talk with someone, instead you can play whack a mole trying to guess when in the next week, the corporate office/call centre people have appointment availability to call you back. I gave up after 30 mins of "please select a date and time" guessing and the autoresponder telling me that I was a loser for buying this unit. Needless to say, the only venue to "talk with a person" is via text message and it turns out that the chatbot/person (who knows) has a limited range of options. They were kind of enough to offer me $150 dollars Canadian to buy a small fridge, this is after 3 weeks of waiting and 4 text message exchanges and having spent $285 on a 4.1 cubic foot Dandy unit from the Brick. Wow! Fantastic Customer Service. I have been told repeatedly via text message, that their warranty is to repair and that they are not willing to discuss any alternatives such as replace (ie. buy the unit back from me / ship me a new one) until July 24, a full seven weeks after the fridge/freezer unit died and less than a year old unit was built. This should be an interesting conversation as 5 weeks in, they still haven't been able to source a compressor. Would I recommend this unit. nope..run away, go buy a Samsung. While LG has a reputation for having compressor problems, 80% chance it will go in the first year, they at least carry stock their appliance repair teams with spare parts. It appears that Whirlpool has been living off their reputation for a couple of decades because I'm not the only one to experience problems with Whirlpool, Maytag and Kitchen aid appliances, the internet is filled with angry customers who have experienced subpar build appliances and unbelievably bad customer service. Do yourself a big favour. Buy something else, not a Whirlpool. Your just buying yourself problems.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Ilija from Terrible quality Condenser stopped working after 4 months so fridge is not cooling anymore. Additionally, it produces terrible grinding sound. All of this only after 4 months of use. Now stuck with waiting for vendor service. Terrible quality of the product and craftsmanship. Avoid at all cost if possible.
