The decreased depth allows me to see items at the back of the fridge so I can cut down on food waste and buying things I already have but can't see. The four doors allow me to open 1/4 of the fridge at a time. I like the alarm that goes off when I accidentally leave a fridge door open too long. The bins in the door are large enough to store a variety of items large and small. I like the bins and shelves in the freezer space which allow me to organize my frozen foods. The fridge is very quiet except when it is making ice. The only drawback is it only comes with 2 drawers. I use one for fruit and one for vegetables but I would have appreciated a meat drawer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Neilio from Novelty Split Freezer So this fridge looks great. The fridge section is not particularly large and the split freezer is a complete waste of space. Not good volume in the freezer. The 2 zones with different temperatures is strictly a novelty. If it was possible to make one of the freezer sections a fridge it would have been a winner in my books.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Zenner from The good and the bad full review. We have had this fridge for over a year and I would say the review is mixed. Pros: Love the ice maker as it makes more than enough ice than we use. Counter depth and no handles means that it doesn't stick out from the counters and no handles to hit when you are passing it. Cons: Counter depth also means that this fridge does not hold allot even though it seems bigger than our older fridge. The evaporator fan which sends cold air to the top portion decided to take a 4 day vacation on us. The bottom part was cooling enough but nothing was being sent to the top which means that we lost some food on the top and had to use coolers to keep the other stuff from spoiling. The condenser was working overtime because it was trying to cool the top which means that it was running hot and I was worried that it might start a fire. This all happened just after the 12 month warranty ran out but I did purchase an extended warranty and it took them another 5 days to get back to us about sending someone out. By this time the fridge mysteriously managed to fix itself. My guess was that the evaporator fan managed to get ice on it and stopped turning until it melted off. The tech from the 3rd party warranty company came and took a look at it and said that he was going to get some part and we have not heard from them since. Still waiting for the part or forgot about us we don't know. I just wish that the extended warranty was through Whirlpool and we could have service through them rather than chasing after a 3rd party.
