Rated 2 out of 5 by Disgruntled from POOR QUALITY CONTROL! Was looking for a fridge that fit into the space left by the older one and this one did perfectly. Wasn't looking for a fridge with a lot of bells and whistles, just basic non complicated. Right on delivery and start-up the unit had a hum and vibration that could be heard throughout the house! Several repair guys and months later, the problem is only almost tolerable. Whirlpool will only repair and not replace a factory defective appliance - buyer beware! Their way of getting rid of junk produced at the low/no quality control factories. Was forced into purchasing their extended warranty plan - my guess is that this is how they get more money out of you. My past experiences with refrigerators: buy one and no issues for 30+ years. Now they last as long as the warranty, if you're that lucky! Great way to save the environment!!

Hard to organize the fridge, the top shelf has all kinds on obstacles with the light and the cold vent getting in the way. The fridge freezes food on all the shelves so be very careful. Didn't come with all the shelves for the freezer I guess you have to buy them separately, in all the pictures it was to come with drawers in the freezer, they don't come with it either. We had one delivered and sent it back because the doors didn't shut right and dings etc.

About 75% of the time the condenser motor is running, and the freezer fan is blowing. It is a more noticeable sound than any other fridge I've known.
