Rated 1 out of 5 by Brian from WSR57R18DM Cooling Failure After 2½ yrs of ownership, my sidekick (WSR57R18DM) quit cooling and was unable to turn off the unit. Called a repair facility and they wanted $3000 to repair. Wasn't aware that this $2000 refrigerator was a throw-away item. Very disappointed in the extremely short service life of this very expensive refrigerator.

Field service manager not answering emails from customer service. No replacement offered. Warranty is repair only. Christmas in 12 days. I hope this refrigerator isn’t your present.

Both unit are great and provided the much needed storage for the new kitchen. Having a full size fridge and freezer eliminate the many trips to the basement when planning or preparing meals.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Patt from Don’t buy this flawed fridge I bought this fridge only 23 months ago and the compressor already broke. Called whirlpool and since its past the 1 yrs warranty they don’t feel responsible for there bad design flawed fridge. Also only after 8 months the led light inside broke and cost 60$ to replace. After arguing a lot with whirlpool since this was bought in Quebec they are obligated to follow quebec laws. This laws says that with normal use of the appliance the manufacturer is responsible if I cannot use my product with resonable time. Appliance normally last 10-15 years.
