Like the features
Not happy with my refrigerator. When I clean the outside of my refrigerator it leaves streaks I tried soap and water and a recommended cleaning product. Still streaks.
Also I have had to call for service to replace the rubber on the inside of my freezer door and refrigerator. It always comes loose. They are supposed to come in a week

The fridge was part of a standard package in a newly built townhouse. Works well, has good amount of storage. Only minor issue is the glass shelves which can slip off the shelf supports as they seem to be too narrow. Used some bits of the Styrofoam packing to fill the gaps. No problem since

Customer not happy waiting for parts
Fridge broke down 4months old. Waiting on parts to be replaced. Parts on back order. This caused me problems with my tenant. I am still waiting for parts. Whirlpool will not replace the fridge. I am still waiting for parts. Not happy with the outcome

It's a Fridge
I am mostly happy with my fridge. The door seal was loose for the fist week or so, and my food wasn't keeping cold. Once I figured out what the problem was, I was able to press the seal deeper into the groove that holds it, and that seems to have solved the problem.

Decent fridge
I moved into my condo (bought pre-construction) about 3 months ago. The fridge works well, though the liner detached and had to be repaired by the Whirlpool technician. The repair was quick and otherwise, the fridge has been working fine.

Great refrigerator but...
I purchased this refrigerator and I am satified with the purchase. Not Very Satisfied. I am still scratching my head as to why in 2023 there is no longer a light in the freezer compartment. It makes no sense. If it is a cost saving strategy by Whirlpool at least add a light as an option, for pete's sake!

Whirlpool Fridge
I bought this a month ago. It is fairly quiet. Inside is not the same as my old fridge so still trying to figure out where to put things. Got the Stainless Steel version but discovered this is just for the front of the fridge not the sides. I managed to get a good sale but still more expensive than it really should be. Such is the result of supply chain issues. Ugh!

$900 Repair
Fridge is less than 3 years old and already had to call a tech out to come look as our fridge is freezing everything. Said there’s a leak in the system that will cost us $900 to repair. Disgusted to learn that this is a major issue that is happening to this fridge and Whirpool seems to think they can get away with this… can’t even get proof of purchase as it was in my new build.

30" Wide Top-Freezer Refrigerator
I moved in over a month ago to new build with all new whirlpool appliances. I was very excited, but in one day I was reminded of my mothers old Refrigerator in the 70s the noise it make, whirlpool has not advanced in technology, besides not leaving a layer of ice in the Freezer, the noise is extreme, especially at night, the motor is slammed when it stops. In a small condo, you want something with less noise, I would except just a hum, this Refrigerator is just a let down....

Fridge is freezing everything in it. It is 2 years old. This is not what I expected from a whirlpool fridge. I thought whirlpool make solid products. This is the first time i am doubting whirlpool. I used to recommend everyone i know to go for whirlpool but i think i will have to stop doing it.

Bought the fridge 4 years ago, and the gas is leaking. Technician said the repairs and labor will cost more than the fridge so get a new one. Called whirlpool and they offered 10% off a new model for our troubles only to argue for 20% off. Clearly this is common that they offered the 10% right off the bat. Avoid this fridge at all costs no pun intended! If we go with another whirlpool hopefully it's more reliable or we are just idiots.

I bought this fridge in March, and due to shipping issues, didn’t receive it for 6 weeks. It actually came earlier than the expected delivery date. New fridge April 2019, now there is a freon leak within the sealed unit. Will cost $130 to diagnose problem and if deemed covered under the 2-5 year limited warranty, only parts are covered and labour STARTS at $390.99!!! Ridiculous that we can no longer expect an appliance to last more than a year or two

Brutal Service
Fridge is 2 years old, needs a new compressor. Neighbour has the exact same model and gets hers fixed under the "2-5 yr" warranty and pays $0. I am being told a compressor is not covered beyond 1 yr. Makes no sense at all. Completely dissatisfied that we have the same model and not getting the same service and warranty coverage.
